The Embassy of Switzerland in cooperation with the Arts Council Azerbaijan is organizing the “H.E.Art” art project of paintings on recycled oil barrels with the theme “Switzerland and its nature”.

The project will start on 9-10 December 2017 with a public art workshop. The Swiss artist, Stefan Buser alias “BustArt”, together with Azerbaijani artists will paint oil barrels during a two-day workshop at the Art Tower.

The exhibition opening will be on 12.12.2017 at 19:00 at the Art Tower (first floor) in Icheri Sheher (enter the double gates and follow the street to the right along the wall). Mulled wine and cookies will be offered at the opening.

Program

09.-10.12.2017:

10h00 - 12h00: Master Class graffiti à la BustArt – Stefan will be teaching the modern technique of graffiti spraying to interested Azerbaijani artists and art students.

14h00 - 17h30: Art Workshop open to the public! BustArt and six great Azerbaijani artists will spray and/or paint 8 further barrels.

The public will be able to assist to their works in progress and ask the artists questions.   

12.12.2017-10.01.2018:

Free Exhibition: All painted oil barrels will be exposed in a free exhibition at the Art Tower.
