Stocktaking and further strengthening of bilateral relations in the areas of economy, development cooperation and humanitarian aid will be high on the agenda during the discussions. Both the countries will talk about a wide range of multilateral, regional and global topics of mutual interest during the consultations.
The Swiss delegation, which also includes Ambassador Thomas Gass, the Assistant Director General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC, will travel to the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar to obtain a first-hand impression about the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Ambassador Nägeli and the Swiss delegation will meet with the representatives of the civil society and business, diplomatic community, International Organizations and INGOs during their visit.
