The State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation issues this warning regarding false advertisements for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships sent by email or on social media: Fraudsters are offering fake scholarships in an attempt to get money transferred (e.g. by claiming that this money is required for visa or social insurance costs). The application process for a Swiss government scholarship is free of charge.

Eligible candidates from Bangladesh who wish to pursue research/PhD/post-doctoral degrees in Switzerland are encouraged to submit their complete application to the Embassy of Switzerland in Dhaka on or before 14 October 2022. Potential candidates who fulfil eligibility criteria are requested to contact the Embassy via email for further information: dhaka@eda.admin.ch
