Travelling to Switzerland

In Switzerland, the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) informs in regards to the Novel Coronavirus and publishes travel advice accordingly.

Entry into Switzerland: new requirements

Starting January 24, 2022:

Canada is considered a high-risk country: restrictions are in place for travellers entering from that country.

Canadian vaccination requirements for travel

Important Notice: Until February 28, 2022, foreign nationals who don’t qualify as fully vaccinated will be able to leave Canada by plane if they show proof of a valid COVID-19 molecular test at the time of travel. After that time, foreign nationals will need to be fully vaccinated in order to board a flight or train to depart Canada. For more details see below or contact the Canadian authorities.

Everyone (also children) authorized to enter Switzerland (by air or long distance bus) must present a completed entry form (on a computer or smartphone at the earliest 48 hours before entry). This also applies to all transit passengers.

The Bahamas is considered a high-risk country: restrictions remain in place for travellers entering from that country.
