As part of our “Diversity + Me” campaign and to shine a spotlight on disability, the Embassy of Switzerland in China, in collaboration with the Blinde Kuh Foundation and Poly Culture Group, will launch a pop-up experience of "Blinde Kuh - Sensory Parcours in the dark“.
Blinde Kuh Foundation, founded in Zurich in 1998, invites sighted people to journey into the world of those who cannot see.
“Blinde Kuh - Sensory Parcours in the Dark" will last for one week, with one hour per session. It is open to the public free of charge. Book your one-hour experience now!
Time: July 30th to August 6th, 2023 (closed on August 1st)
Place: Beijing Time Museum, Southeast corner, Gulou Outer Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing
Admission: Free of charge
Activity duration: 1 hour per session
Activities (with the assistance of Swiss blind guides):
- Common ingredients touching and tasting
- Postcard writing / game playing, trying everyday activities of people with impaired vision
- Dialogue with other guests and blind guides
- Swiss wine tasting (certain sessions)
- Blind ping pong
- Listen to sound artworks from Swiss Alpines Museum
