Eau et Assainissement domaine Santé
This water and sanitation programme is complementary intervention to the three SDC Health Programmes implemented in the region. The programme targets the rehabilitation and provision of adequate water and sanitation infrastructure at health facilities in order to contribute to a decrease in mortality and morbidity caused by water borne diseases. Expected outcomes of the project are a better access to drinking water and sanitation at the health facilities but also in the communities, a higher quality of the health service delivery and improved hygiene practices in the communities through patient sensitization at the health facilities and community mobilization.
