During the 3daysofdesign the Swiss Embassy, located directly at the waterfront in the North of Copenhagen, opens its doors for exclusive insights into its landmarked architecture and exquisite interiors.
The residence exhibits a meaningful selection of Swiss designers and manufacturers, curated by the internationally known Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli. The selected designers range from young to established and among the award-winning exhibits many wrote design history and contributed to the association of Swiss Design with both innovation and quality.
Come by the Swiss Embassy to get inspired by its architectural finesses and exquisite interior design and spend a laid-back afternoon in “The Landi Garden” curated by Vitra, exhibiting Hans Coray`s famous Landi Chair in the beautiful garden of the residence. Also Add a Room will be presenting their biggest house module at the Residence: a small, completely finished house designed by the Danish top architect Lars Frank Nielsen.
You`ll also have the opportunity to test various Swiss products, from coffee brewed by finest hand crafted Espresso machines to a test ride on Swiss high end design electric bikes.

Public Lecture: The Power of Display - Exhibition Architecture and Architecture as Exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art
In the context of the 3daysofdesign the Embassy also co-organized a Public Lecture with no one else than MARTINO STIERLI, Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
In his lecture Mr. Stierli will present his thoughts on the museum of tomorrow and speak about the activities of the architecture & design department at MoMA in a historical perspective: The beginnings of architectural and design exhibitions, the various experimentations with forms of display and more recent approaches to exhibiting architecture - including workshops, and the Young Architects Program.

Residence Talk: Two Design Traditions
Anne-Louise Sommer from the Designmuseum Danmark, Mateo Kries from the Vitra Design Museum and the Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli will hold an exclusive talk at the Swiss Embassy, discussing two design traditions and the influence of Denmark and Switzerland on global design and architecture.
