Reminder: Information on vaccination of foreigners legally residing in Georgia (source Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia)

According to amendments to Georgian legislation, the following foreign nationals can participate in the state immunization program:

  • Foreign national or stateless person (with valid visa, residence permit or staying in Georgia under visa-free regime), who has entered Georgia at least 3 months ago (taking into account the possibility of short-term leave of the territory of Georgia);
  • Foreign nationals, who are participants of program “Remotely From Georgia” and their family members, as well as foreign nationals temporarily employed in Georgia, on the basis of an official petition of the sectoral state authority;
  • Foreign students (who were not able to leave Georgia), based on the list provided by the relevant education institution;
  • Employees of diplomatic missions, consulates and international organizations accredited to Georgia, as well as foreign employees of the missions enjoying the same status and their family members;
  • Persons residing in the occupied territories of Georgia, regardless of citizenship, as well as those who work in projects funded by diplomatic missions and international donor organizations in the occupied territory, and their family members;
  • Individuals, who are currently at penitentiary institutions, regardless of possessing any official ID documents;
  • Foreign citizen as defined by the Decree №164 of the Government of Georgia, whose family member (child, parent, spouse) is a citizen of Georgia.

For vaccination, foreign nationals must visit the institutions listed below (in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi) and submit a document certifying compliance with any of abovementioned categories.

Vaccination will be carried out in the following institutions:

  • Tbilisi

Academician Nikoloz Kipshidze Central University Clinic (Tbilisi, Vazha Pshavela 29);

  • Batumi

Batumi Republican Hospital Ltd. (Batumi, Tbel Abuseridze St. 2);

  • Kutaisi

O. Chkhobadze Medical-Rehabilitation Clinic for the Disabled and the Elderly (Kutaisi, Tolbukhin St. 16).
