Khoj welcomes Hans Ulrich Obrist to New Delhi in collaboration with India Art Fair (IAF) for the release of the The Hans Ulrich Obrist Khoj Marathon Interviews book. The book is a collection of conversations from the 2011 Khoj Marathon with Obrist — a marathon-style public interview series with twenty-six artists, curators, social philosophers, political analysts, activists and academics, over a period of 24 hours at the historical Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi. The Khoj Marathon was the first marathon interview series by Obrist to be held in the Asian subcontinent.
This year, the book release at India Art Fair will be accompanied by short-format marathon interviews. Obrist will unpack the work of new media artists whose practice has a strong focus on video-gaming: Afrah Shafiq, Dhruv Jani (Studio Oleomingus), Gayatri Kodikal, and Sahej Rahal.
Time: 6:30–7:30 pm
The event is in partnership with The Embassy of Switzerland in India and Bhutan and the British Council. The book and the mini-marathon is supported by Payal and Anurag Khanna.
