On the occasion of G20 Tourism Ministers’ Meeting which was held on October 25 and 26,  Kutchan in Hokkaido warmly welcomed the Swiss delegation led by the Ambassador of Switzerland to Japan, Jean-François Paroz, Mayor of St. Moritz Christian Jott Jenny and Ambassador Eric Jakob, Head of Promotion Activities Directorate , State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO to celebrate the city partnership between Kutchan and  St. Moritz which has been established 55 years ago. 　

On October 27, the Swiss delegation visited Niseko Brewing Company, one of the oldest sake brewery in the town as well as a resting station in the ski resort Kutchancho Asahigaoka where children from the town performed jazz music. The luncheon meeting with Mayor of Kutchan Kazushi Monji, members of  the town council  and organizers of G20 Tourism Ministers’ Meeting  deepened their friendship.
