Switzerland is committed to enhance access to education and employment for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptians (RAE) communities, as well as improving their living conditions in Kosovo. Today Ambassador Kolly visited several social inclusion interventions supported by the Swiss Cooperation Office in collaboration with Terre des hommes - Kosovo, HEKS and the local NGO Voice of Roma. Ambassador Kolly was delighted to see how a Learning Center in Lipjan increases the quality of education for young RAE community members. In addition, Ambassador Kolly visited a settlement in Gadime, where beneficiaries were able to improve their living conditions considerably. The Ambassador encouraged RAE communities to invest in education as the best way for a prosperous future.
