Also on the agenda will be the international community's efforts to stem the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19. The head of the FDFA will meet with the director of the French ministry's Crisis and Support Centre to thank him for his support in the recent repatriation of Swiss citizens from Wuhan. Mr Cassis will also meet with the head of the ministry's Centre for Analysis, Planning and Strategy.

Swiss companies employ some 140,000 people in France, mainly in the border regions (Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes) and in the Île-de-France region.
