The Embassy of Switzerland presents the film «Confusion» by Laurent Nègre at the cinema Victoria in Oslo as part of this year’s «Festival de la francophonie».
After two years of a bitter political struggle Geneva's State Councillor Caroline Gauthier is finally able to receive a former prisoner of Guantanamo with the intention to offer him a new life in Switzerland. The two film students Dario und Yacine try to document this glorious day in a film portrait and follow the State Councillor very closely. But soon it turns out that nothing is going as planned.
The film is in French, English and Swiss German, the subtitles are in English.
