Magdalena has previously exhibited her tapestries at the festival in Northern Norway and has had several solo exhibitions in Norway and Switzerland. She has also had decoration commissions in churches and other public buildings. The tapestries always have a message, whether it is a sacred motif that is meant to work in a church room or a carpet that is meant to be experienced completely free and independent of the surroundings. One of the characteristics of Magdalena is the use of strong colours and strong lines.
