The Second International Russian-Swiss Forum "Innovation Day"  enhanced multilateral cooperation between the Swiss Confederation and the Russian Federation with a strong focus on innovation in the following fields: mechanical engineering and machine-tool industry; ecology and processing of industrial and household wastes; pharmaceutics and medical equipment; education and scientific cooperation.

In addition to company directors and business representatives of the Swiss and Russian industries targeted by the forum, many officials attended, namely representatives of Russian Regions, Swiss Cantons, Deputies from the State Duma and the Swiss Parliament, high-ranked officials of the federal government of Russia, members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and many others.”
