Ambassador Schmid seized the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Blagojevic on his recent appointment as Minister for Public Investment and to discuss current cooperation projects and challenges in the fields of disaster risk reduction as well as climate sensitive infrastructure investments in Serbia.

Switzerland currently supports Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction project (EUR 7.28 mio) implemented with Ministry for Public Investment in Uzice and Paracin. In Uzice, an early warning system was installed, while in Paracin, the reconstruction/raising of the seven bridges is in progress, as a measure against floods.
