Dushanbe, Tajikistan, October 21, 2021 – Today, the Government of Switzerland launched a Master-Classes on ‘Photography as Art and Documentary’ in the American Space Dushanbe, aiming at promoting photography as art across Tajikistan. During four days, master classes from the most known Photographers Artem Chernov and Gueorgui Pinkhasov will be given. This project is supported by the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan and the American Space Dushanbe and is conducted by Farhad Azizov, in collaboration with Serena Hotel, www.foto.tj and Asia Plus.

The Government of Switzerland is one of the key donors supporting the Culture and Art Programme in Tajikistan and has a long-standing experience in the promotion of festivals, music events, photography contests, and supporting museums and local cultural events. The continuation of supporting art and culture, will solidify the achieved progress and ensure that the people of Tajikistan will keep their tradition and culture alive.
