This year, the Embassy of Switzerland and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Ho Chi Minh City are very pleased to present in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City:

Swiss Film: “THE STEEP WAY UP”, a documentary film directed by Caroline Fink.

For two centuries, Switzerland has been a world leader in alpinism. Modern mountaineering was born in the Alps, as was a renowned mountain guide system. Today there are about 1300 mountain guides working in Switzerland - 1270 of them are men, 36 are women. We accompany one of them - and two who dream of becoming mountain guides. It is a film about courage, anger, passion and the liberty to throw old role models overboard.
