The 32nd Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) shines the spotlight on cinematography from Mongolia. The SDC has supported the festival, which promotes film-making in the South and East, since its inception.
From 16 to 24 March 2018, visitors to Fribourg can once again enjoy an array of films from all over the world. The international competition of the Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF) is the centrepiece of the festival programme, with around 12 feature-length films and selected shorts from three different short film programmes.
The selection of short films – a mixture of fiction, documentaries and animation – presents new talent and cinematography trends from Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Film-makers are invited to showcase their work in Fribourg. And the parallel section ‘New Territory’ shines the spotlight on the burgeoning Mongolian film industry.
