The periodical bilateral armaments meeting between Switzerland and Sweden will take place in Switzerland on 16 and 17 January 2025. The Swedish Chief of Armament Göran Mårtensson will visit the Swiss partner organisation armasuisse with a delegation on this occasion. The Chief of Armament Urs Loher will welcome the Swedish delegation in Bern and in Thun.
Several expert talks on defence policy, including the topics of procurement planning, industrial capability development and international cooperation will take place on Thursday in Bern. Friday will see a visit to the competence sector Science and Technology (S+T) in Thun. In particular, the visit will include a tour of the Communication and Information Systems Labs (CISLabs) and the Swiss Drone and Robotics Centre (SDRC).
The last bilateral meeting of the Chiefs of Armament from Switzerland and Sweden took place from 11 to 12 September 2023 in Stockholm, Sweden.
