On August 14th 1948 in New Delhi, Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Swiss Envoy Extraordinary to India Armin Daeniker signed a Treaty of Friendship between the two countries. Article I states: "There shall be perpetual peace and unalterable friendship between […] India and Switzerland".

Today, Switzerland is part of the finest club of States already enjoying 75 years of bilateral relations with India.

To celebrate this special anniversary, the official Swiss network in India plans to organize 75 events/projects around the country under one slogan: "Success stories to be continued". Each of them tells a specific achievement of Swiss-Indian friendship.
