Bulgarian non-governmental organisations and/or consortia are eligible to participate. They will receive the tender dossier with detailed information on the scope of the mandate and the requirements for applying after sending a letter of interest to the attention of the Head of the Swiss Contribution Office. More information is available in the attached file.
The deadline for submission of bids is 18 December 2023, 17.00 hours Bulgarian time. The deadline for questions on the procedure is 5 November 2023. The decision on the award of the management of the Swiss-Bulgarian Civic Engagement and Transparency Facility is expected to be published at the end of February 2024.
The Swiss-Bulgarian Cooperation Programme will support Bulgarian civil society through capacity building, exchange of experience and know-how transfer through CETF. CETF will promote civic participation and a more transparent public debate. The overall objective of the Swiss-Bulgarian Civic Engagement and Transparency Facility is to involve more citizens in the decision-making process and to increase the capacity and trust of civil society organisations in Bulgaria.
The Facility will support two to three light house pre-defined projects targeting established NGOs with proven track records, and will provide grants on a competitive basis to CSOs with limited capacity and experience working in less developed regions in Bulgaria.
