Background |
The Sustainable Cities Program, managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), will support selected municipalities in choosen countries to mobilize private sector investements and solutions, which will help to close the financing gap for climate relevant infrastructure. |
Objectives |
1) increase non-sovereign and private sector investments for sustainable and innovative urban infrastructure and 2) demonstrate and replicate innovative investment models for municipal infrastructure projects to the private sector and ultimately to increase access to and improve the quality of urban infrastructure. |
