Switzerland is ranked as the most innovative country in the world in leading indices – for over 10 years, we have placed first in the UN Global Innovation Index. Promoting innovation is also a strategic goal of Poland. The Embassy creates attractive partnerships and platforms for joint initiatives and works closely with the SERI to this end. The Memorandum of Understanding with Poland in the field of education, research and innovation, which Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin signed in May 2025, formalises Switzerland's commitment in Poland. From 2026 onward, Warsaw will be an official part of the Swissnex network.
