Swiss citizens who get into difficulties abroad, also can ask for advice and help from the Swiss representative.

The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

The slogan of this year’s SCO cultural campaign is defined to be "My Home – Armenia in a Rapidly Changing World". With this call, we invite artists to reflect on life in this difficult geographical place; on being Armenian in a cosmopolitan world; and on living today but with an open, potentially promising future ahead. The proposed project ideas should adhere to the slogan and frame the suggested projects’ activities and expected results accordingly.

Applicants can be organizations or individuals representing all types of contemporary arts. Applicants should not be linked to a political party, nor should their proposal have any relation or interaction with political activities.

Projects’ duration must not exceed 6 months. Maximum grant provided by the SCO is equivalent to max. AMD 2’000’000 per project.

The project proposal together with its detailed budget sheet must be submitted electronically in PDF format to yerevan.media@eda.admin.ch subject line “Arts and Culture Small Project Proposal 2023” until 12.00, 10/04/2023. The size of the attachments should not exceed 10MB. Receipt of the submissions will be acknowledged by e-mail, only selected applicants will be contacted by 21/04/2023. No questions will be answered by phone or mail during the selection process.

The grants are offered in the framework of the SDC’s regional "Arts and Culture Project in the South Caucasus". Implemented in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, the regional AC project apart the small grants component systematically supports documentary films, documentary theatre and photography as powerful tools of contemporary art. The regional project aims to challenge social stigma, promote inclusion and human rights through empowering the civil society, nurturing intercultural dialogue and regional cooperation in the South Caucasus. With overall funding of CHF 980’000 the project’s duration is 15.11.2021–31.10.2025. Learn more about the regional "Arts and Culture Project in the South Caucasus" here.
