Concert

As Switzerland’s oldest symphony orchestra, the LSO’s concerts have long featured soloists of international renown – these include Hilary Hahn, Nelson Freire, Lang Lang, Krystian Zimerman etc. The LSO has, in recent years, been invited to perform at George Enescu Festival, Bucharest; the Tchaikovsky Hall, Moscow; and the Locarno-Ascona Festival. The orchestra has also been invited back to appear at the Kissinger Sommer festival. 

Conductor James Gaffigan

James Gaffigan is currently the Chief Conductor of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Guest Conductor of the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. In recent seasons, James Gaffigan’s engagements have included the Munich, London, Dresden and Wiener Symphoniker etc. 

Piano George Li

George Li is regarded as one of the most talented and creative young pianist in his generation. He captured the Silver Medal at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition, and at the XIVe Concours International "Grand Prix Animato 2014" in Paris, he won First Prize. Possessing "staggering technical prowess, a sense of command and depth of expression," George Li is highly acclaimed for his performance when it comes to solo, concerto and ensemble.
