Swiss author Anaïs Clerc will join the Long Night of LiteratureS along with 14 acclaimed authors from across Europe. Long Night of LiteratureS is a one-of-a-kind annual literary evening that brings together acclaimed authors from across Europe in a unique literary speed-dating format. Audience move from room to room, experiencing live reading and meaningful conversations with each author.
After two years of COVID related lockdowns and restrictions, the Embassy of Switzerland is back at the Francophonie Mela 2022. The mela will be held at the Alliance Française de Delhi, 26th March 2022, 12:00 noon to 05:00 pm. The Swiss diplomatic network in India is planning an exclusive Swiss it! bus that will travel through 28 cities in India (virtually and physically) to bring low-tech, clean-tech solutions to water and air pollution, waste segregation, and recycling to your backyard. The launch will take place in New Delhi on March 22, following which the bus will travel to Mumbai.
The Swiss Cultural network in India in association with Oxford Bookstore feature Fabiano Alborghetti, Swiss Italian poet and cultural promoter, in conversation with Seema Chari, quiz master, anchor, author, knowledge media and language expert.
The Urban Design department at the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi, was invited amongst 235 applicants to present their exhibition in Bern on the experiences of pandemic and wishes to promote “a new understanding of pubic and urban areas”. The findings and explorations of the students in the design studio at the SPA on “Emerging localities in the Covid/post Covid era: Towards Resilience and Sustenance” showcases more than 20 towns and cities spread around India.
Are you an aspiring or established photo/lens artist? We have an interesting work assignment for you! The Embassy of Switzerland and the Swiss Co-operation office in India are interested in receiving your application. As a selected artist you would take pictures at different locations in one region – the aim being to best grasp the impact of Swiss cooperation projects. There are various locations in the North, East, West and South of India to be engaged with photographically. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply along with their portfolio, CV and a short motivation letter to the Cultural Section of the Embassy. The assignment comes with an appropriate remuneration covering work and expenses.
