National Programme Officer - Federal State Building

Switzerland through its development cooperation has been engaged in Nepal since 1959. With the establishment of its Embassy in Nepal in August 2009, Switzerland’s cooperation with Nepal continues to focus on federal state building, employment and income as well as migration. Switzerland is committed to support Nepal’s socio-economic development and federal state building at national, provincial and local level. 

We are looking for qualified Nepali National for 4 years fixed term contract with possibility of extension for the following position:

National Programme Officer - Federal State Building

Master’s degree in Public Administration, Law or Policy, Political Science, Economics, Development Studies or other relevant field; At least 5 years of experience in practical development work in the areas of federalism, decentralization and local governance, public financial management (PFM), including extensive field exposure.

Invitation for Bids

Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in close collaboration with the Government of Nepal is implementing the Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme Phase IV (Exit Phase) from year January 2021 to June 2025. As per the Constitutional provision of Nepal, the MLRBP is supporting the seven Provincial Governments in the management of motorable bridges on provincial road networks.

In this context, the SDC invites bids from potential bidders (firms) to externally evaluate MLRBP Phase IV. The bidders shall send their questions for clarifications to kathmandu@eda.admin.ch by 02.04.2024.
