On occasion of Francophonie Film Festival organized by the Alliance Francaise de Bombay, the Consulate General of Switzerland in Mumbai will screen the 2023 Swiss film "Rivière",  directed by Hugues Hariche. 

Synopsis: 17-year-old Manon has run away from home in search of her father, who is nowhere to be found. She has travelled from the Swiss mountains to Belfort in France. There she makes new friends and fights for a place in the local ice hockey team. She plays better than the boys, but her aggression puts a spanner in the works. Only when she is able to release her inner conflicts does the path open up for her biggest dream: a professional ice hockey career.

Film duration: 104 mins. With English subtitles.
