The Embassy of Switzerland in Amman is glad to announce the concert of the acclaimed Marc Perrenoud Trio in the framework of the Amman Jazz Festival. The concert will take place on Monday 20th April 2015 at the Haya Cultural Centre in Amman.

The group
Born in Berlin in 1981, Marc Perrenoud started playing piano and improvising at the age of 6. He studied at the Geneva Conservatory up until 2001 and obtained his diploma in 2004 at the Lausanne Jazz School. Since 2008, the group "Marc Perrenoud Trio" has given more than 450 concerts in all the major festivals and jazz clubs around the world. Marc Perrenoud teaches at the Conservatory of Geneva. He is co-founder and artistic director of the festival "Les Athénéennes" in Geneva.

The festival
The Amman Jazz Festival is an annual regional event in its 4th edition in 2015. The Festival was founded in 2012 by OrangeRed to celebrate diversity and cultural fusion, and has always featured top class Jazz artists to present a vast variety of Jazz music to the public. This year’s edition will take place in Amman at the Haya Cultural Centre as well as several other venues from 19th till 24th April 2015.
