Thursday, 17.09.2015 – Friday, 30.10.2015

Singapore is periodically affected by heavy haze that results from forest fires in Indonesia and is currently experiencing unusually thick haze. The haze consists of small particles and gases that can potentially be harmful to humans. The eyes and respiratory system are most likely to be affected. Their concentrations vary based on multiple factors including the weather conditions and are frequently published online by the governments National Environment Agency. In the case of high concentrations, it is advisable to refrain from prolonged outdoor exposure.
