The Swiss diplomatic missions in India together with Pro Helvetia New Delhi, under the series titled "Swiss Literary Days", have invited Swiss author Dana Grigorcea to participate in the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival on 7 February 2021 from 4 pm to 5 pm IST.

Dana will read from her novel "An Instinctive Feeling of Innocence" as well as present her upcoming new book "Those Who Won't Die" (DIe Nicht Sterben) and subsequently engage in a candid conversation with Dr. Jyoti Sabharwal of Delhi University.

About Dana:

Swiss-Romanian essayist, novelist, and children’s book author living in Zürich. After studying in Belgium, Germany and Austria, Dana moved to Switzerland. Her essays have appeared in newspapers across Europe and her novels have been translated into several languages. Her 2011 debut novel ‘Baba Rada’ won the Swiss Literary Pearl. She was awarded the 3sat Prize in Klagenfurt at the 2015 Ingeborg Bachmann Competition for ‘An Instinctive Feeling of Innocence’. Dana has worked as a journalist in Vienna, Bonn and Strassburg. She was a lecturer of Film at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste ZHdK. She writes essays and reports for the Frankfurter Allgemeine and Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
