Assistant to visa section (Decider) - Embassy of Switzerland
Responsibilities:
- Checking application files based on internal instructions
- Authorizing visa applications
- Telephone service and email treatment
- Leading interviews
- Assistance information update Website and leaflets
- Support to counter work, receiving clients and application
Personal Competencies: Conscientiousness and efficiency in meeting commitments and achieving results. Open-mindedness and inter-cultural competence. Integrates with hands-on readiness in a small multi-tasking team in a multi-lingual environment. Confident person who likes to carry responsibility.
Education: Administrative education
Work Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in administrative position.
Languages: German or French or Italian & English. (Knowledge of Thai language is an advantage)
Other Skills: High level of administrative and typing skills. Good knowledge of standard computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is required. Experience in computer database management desirable.
Remuneration: A competitive compensation on hourly basis and benefits package is offered.
Important requirement: The candidate has to be Swiss citizen or citizen of a Schengen member country. The candidate will have the opportunity to take part in a Schengen visa training in Switzerland.

- Customer Service at visa counter & telephone
- Checking application files based on internal instructions
- Registration entry of visa fees
- Registration of visa applications
- Regular filing of visa applications
- Leading interviews

Education: Administrative education
Work Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in administrative position.
Languages: Thai (mother tongue), English (very good spoken and written), French or German or Italian (good general knowledge)
Other Skills: High standard of secretarial and typing skills (both Latin and Thai alphabet). Good knowledge of standard computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is required
