Marking the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Swiss Agency for Development (SDC) is organising a panel discussion on international Human Rights Day 2018 in association with the City of Bern, Amnesty International Switzerland and the Polit-Forum Bern.
The talks will focus on the role of the judiciary and the police in relation to the protection – or violation – of young people's rights. They will cover a range of issues from the day-to-day experience of young people in Bern and the practices of the judicial system in Bern to the situation in the SDC's partner countries.
