Within the Culture for Democracy Project cultural actors will be provided with resources to unleash their potential for triggering critical and creative thinking around topics of immediate relevance for their communities.
The open call refers to Grants for Artistic Expressions providing support for the implementation of cultural and artistic projects and activities which are both relevant for the development of society, as well as for diversifying practices and expressions of the independent artistic and cultural sector.
Deadline for applications submission is January 20th, 2023. Applications are to be send to grants@heartefact.org (narrative project proposal and project budget proposal). The Culture for Democracy Project Team stands ready to assist with project applications and any questions/concerns that may arise in the application process. The Culture for Democracy Project aims at supporting the independent cultural sector in Serbia to contribute to improved social cohesion and tolerance at the local level. Supported by the Government of Switzerland with the value of EUR 970’000, the first project phase lasts from October 2021 until February 2025, and is implemented by Heartefact Fund.
