Media Corner

On 15 and 16 June, a Summit on Peace in Ukraine will take place at the Bürgenstock. Media representatives may access all relevant information on the event in the Media Corner. This information will be updated and new information added on a regular basis.

Image gallery

Images of the event will be made available on Flickr as soon as possible. These pictures may exclusively be used for editorial purposes. For reasons of security and space, photographers will only have access to the press conference, not the summit itself.

Livestream

For security reasons, a physical presence of media representatives in the summit venue must be highly restricted. Thus, a livestream of the main events will be provided.

Pooled video footage

Pool video footage of key programme items will be available free of charge. Files can be downloaded from iOGates approximately 1 hour after individual events have taken place.

The footage will remain available for 7 days after the summit has ended.

Stand-up positions

A limited number of stand-up positions for TV live inserts and interviews are available with power and dedicated internet at the Residence terrace right across the media centre. Eurovision News Events will be offering fully equipped live stand-up positions bookable on an ad hoc basis. There will also be non-equipped space to do short live inserts or as-lives. The positions are available only for accredited media.

On-site and live satellite transmission of Host coverage

The primary host coverage, produced by SRF, will be distributed on site via multboxes in the Media Center. Please be sure to bring your own BNC cable. Select events of the Summit will also be distributed live via satellite worldwide, with the support of Eurovision News Events. Once the schedule is finalized, you will be able to receive the parameters for the downlink by clicking on the “Book Now” button, then “Participation +” on this webpage: https://www.eurovision.net/events/news/politics/54351/details

Access to the signal via satellite will be free of charge.

Frequency coordination

All users must register their wireless radio devices in advance via webtool FreqCoord by 10 June 2024. Wireless devices may not be used if they have not been registered. All wireless radio devices must be checked on-site before use and receive a validation sticker. This does not apply to smartphones, notebooks and bluetooth headphones. Media Center

A media center at the Bürgenstock with open space workstations will be available for accredited media.

Opening hours:

  • Saturday, 15 June: 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. 
  • Sunday, 16 June: 7 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Media representatives should bring their own adaptors to ensure that their devices can be connected to Swiss power outlets.

Badges

The badges for media professionals can be collected on Saturday 15 June from 8:00 am on in Obbürgen.

Arrival / Shuttle service

Individual access to the summit venue will not be possible, but a shuttle service departing from Stans will be set up. As parking space in Stans is scarce, please favor public transportation.

Media representatives are responsible for organizing their own accommodation.
