International Career Day ICD

The ICD provides young professionals and students from Swiss universities with an ideal platform to engage with representatives of international organisations. It also offers them the opportunity to explore career possibilities and gain insight into the specifics of working in a multilateral environment. Participants will thus have the chance to obtain first-hand information about internships, part-time positions, employment opportunities, and recruitment criteria.

More than 50 high-profile multilateral organisations, active in different fields, will be present to answer visitors' questions.

Since its inception in 2003, the number of participating organisations and visitors has grown significantly. The ICD was held in Bern in 2017, in Basel in 2018, in St. Gallen in 2019, took the form of a virtual event in 2021, was held in Fribourg in 2022, in Lucerne in 2023, and Lausanne in 2024.

Admission to the ICD is free of charge. The registration link will be made available here approximately two weeks before the event.
