URC2022 – Media Corner

On 4-5 July, 2022, Switzerland and Ukraine will jointly host the international Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2022) at the Congress Centre in Lugano, Switzerland. The conference will begin on 4 July at around 11 am and officially finish on 5 July with the final press conference at around 1 pm. A more specific programme will be made available in due time.

The entire URC2022 including the press conference will be livestreamed on YouTube (link will be communicated later). Due to security restrictions, a physical attendance to the conference itself will not be possible for the media.

Media representatives wishing to access media facilities and the final press conference in order to cover the URC2022 from Lugano must fill out the accreditation request form below by 15 June, noon (CEST). Accreditation requests beyond this deadline cannot be accepted.

Host broadcast

A limited number of bookable broadcast workspaces are available for accredited media. These open-plan broadcast workspaces must be booked in advance and are available only to television and radio broadcasters who require access locally to the live host signal feeds in full broadcast quality.

The host signals, on top of being livestreamed on YouTube, will be globally distributed in full broadcast quality on satellite and fiber, and available for download on EBU’s Newsdirect platform.

A limited number of dedicated unmanned stand-up positions will be made available and must also be requested.

Host photos

Photos of the event will be swiftly made available for free. Due to security and space restrictions photographers can only be allowed access during the final press conference. More specific information will be posted here in due time.


The credentials can be picked up at the Ciani media centre (back entrance), Via Pasquale Lucchini as of Sunday, 3 July 2 pm (media centre opening hours see above).

Wi-Fi / Electricity

Wi-Fi is available.

The standard voltage in Switzerland is 220V.

The power plugs used are Type C (two pins) and Type J (three pins).

Plug adapters will not be available so please bring a travel adapter if necessary.
